General Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager at NComputing, key responsibilities include managing software and SaaS products – workspace, user-device and mobility management- and serving as the product expert for the products that you own. You will have a proven track record of successfully delivering to market software products, on time and within budget.

As the product go-to person, you will be able to demo, install and advise customers both internally and externally on the products for which you are responsible.  Attention to detail, the ability to think two steps ahead, and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits is crucial for this role.

This role focuses on the administrative-user experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• Define, plan and execute on the vision for the next-gen management software and cloud-based management solutions.
• Product Planning – you will be responsible for product planning and product lifecycle, working very closely with engineers for your products, which includes gathering detailed requirements, constant customer interaction, writing MRDs and PRDs, and developing requirements into a vision for the product.
• Sales and Partner support – you will be working closely with internal sales teams and externally with partners to support them in answering any questions relating to your products and their deployment within customer environments.
• Marketing Enablement: Write, review and support product collateral development activities
• Working with development – you will work daily with on-shore and off-shore software development and QA teams in multiple timezones.
• Beta and trial programs – you will be required to run beta and trial programs for your products and analyze and translate feedback into future product requirements.
• Define the strategy, deliver and execute on pricing, packaging and licensing (including subscription models)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 7+ years of software/ IT management/SaaS/mobility/UX experience/Analytics/Reporting with at least 5 years’ experience in product management. NOTE: App & desktop Virtualization, IT and service management, SaaS and mobile apps for cloud services experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subjected. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Ability to go the extra mile and remain calm and focused when handling multiple projects  and issues.
• Must be able to be based out of Santa Clara
• Very strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Experience working with development teams in multiple global locations
• Experience working on agile development methodologies (SCRUM, etc.)
• Must have worked on complete product lifecycle (from conception to definition to planning to release to retire) for a few products
• Willing to travel up to 25% and as needed to support scheduled field engagements and events.

Excellent people and management skills are a must for interacting with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and select third parties.
