PRESS RELEASE

NComputing Chairman and CEO Stephen Dukker to Present at Inaugural Interop São Paulo

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 12, 2008 – NComputing, the leading provider of desktop virtualization software and hardware, today announced that company Chairman and CEO Stephen Dukker will speak at the inaugural Interop São Paulo 2008, being held August 12th to 14th, 2008, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Dukker will talk about the history of virtualization technologies and how desktop virtualization is changing the economics of computing.  He will also participate in a panel presentation on investment and payback of virtualization.

The creators of the Interop conferences launched Interop São Paulo in response to the growing prominence of South American technology markets and the increase in interest among Brazilian businesses and educators in buying, selling, and discussing the latest in IT. The event was scheduled to coincide with Security Week 2008, the largest event in Latin America devoted to risk management and information security. Interop São Paulo brings together more than 60 presenters from Microsoft, Salesforce.com, 3Com, TIBCO, Accenture, and others from as far away as the United Kingdom. They will address highly relevant and game-changing technologies, such as service-oriented architecture, software-as-a-service, web 2.0, and virtualization.

NComputing recently hired additional staff and expanded its presence in Brazil to meet increasing demand from business and education customers. Brazil is one of the four largest markets for the company’s low-cost computing solution. NComputing has sold nearly one million seats to 20,000 organizations in more than 90 countries.

Dukker delivers his presentation, “Virtualization: Revolutionizing the Cost of Computing,” from 5:30 to 6:10 on Tuesday, August 12. Dukker will participate in a panel debate, titled “Virtualization: How to Justify the Return on Investment,” from 2:30 to 3:45 on August 14.

The NComputing solution is based on a simple fact: today's PCs are so powerful that the vast majority of applications only use a small fraction of the computer's capacity. NComputing's virtualization software and hardware tap this unused capacity so that it can be simultaneously shared by multiple users. Each user's monitor, keyboard, and mouse connect to the shared PC through a small and very durable NComputing access device. The access device itself has no CPU, memory or moving parts so it is rugged, durable, and easy to deploy and maintain -- especially critical in developing nations. NComputing software and hardware costs as little as $70 per seat.
