At the eLearning Conference in Zambia, the company invited Ministries of Education, NGOs, and technology partners across Africa to join in a partnership approach to deploy showcase sites. The Catalyst program matches entrepreneurs with local schools to enable sustainable development of low-cost computing, bringing low-cost, high-performing computing to millions more African children. As part of this program, NComputing will offer no-cost products, training, and support to Education Ministries, NGOs, and qualified local technology partners who registered at the show.

At the eLearning Conference, NComputing announced a multifaceted effort to accelerate adoption of the technology on a widespread basis andwill provide no-cost products for at least two showcase classrooms in each African country to Ministries demonstrating interest. In addition, the company will make Catalyst kits available to all qualified NGOs and local technology companies who work with the Ministries to support the schools. These Catalyst kits are a collection of NComputing products and access to training and support, along with preferred education pricing, provided at no cost so that local organizations can deploy the technology.
