Redwood City, California, June 20, 2008 – NComputing, the leading provider of desktop virtualization software and hardware, today announced that company Chairman and CEO Stephen Dukker participated in a policy roundtable on technology innovation in K-12 education hosted by U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings and Dr. Paul Jacobs, CEO of Qualcomm (QCOM).

The event was held on June 16^th in San Diego, California. The roundtable included leading educators, company executives, and venture capitalists that were selected based on their innovative solutions for K-12 education. The major goals of the roundtable were to explore promising approaches to improving education and how these approaches could be broadly implemented in schools throughout the country.

Dukker was selected because NComputing has already made a dramatic impact on computer affordability in U.S. schools by cutting computing costs as much as 70% and electric consumption by 90%.  The NComputing solution is based on a simple fact: today's PCs are so powerful that the vast majority of applications only use a small fraction of the computer's capacity.
