REDWOOD CITY, CALIF., December 16, 2008 – NComputing, the leading provider of ultra-low-cost computing, today announced a partnership with Food For The Poor (FFP), to provide computing stations to poor school children in Latin America and the Caribbean. FFP is the largest international relief and development organization in the United States. In 2007, Food For The Poor provided over $1 billion in food, medical care, and educational materials to the poorest of the poor in 17 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America.  With the growing importance of computer literacy to education and job training, the charity has incorporated NComputing-based computer stations into its giving program. FFP will enable people to donate NComputing-based computer stations for just $170 per seat or an entire seven-station computer lab for just $1,190.
