NComputing Becomes Leader in Desktop Virtualization in India for 5th consecutive year
NComputing announced that it has achieved a significant milestone of deploying over 1.4 million seats in India. Customer wins, backed by a unique value-driven proposition and growing relevance in the market for its products across varied sectors like education, small and medium businesses, enterprises, and, government and non-government organisations, have been key factors behind achieving this momentous milestone.
Mr. Sharma is Vice President of sales for NComputing’s Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, he brings 24 years of sales experience spanning start-ups, growth-stage companies, and F100 corporations. Prior to NComputing, Mr. Sharma led the South Asia sales team for Wyse Technology. He also held positions of Managing Director of Domain Manufacturing’s APAC operations and Director of Sales, SEA for Brooks Automation (acquired by Applied Materials). He has also worked at HCL-Hewlett Packard and Sony Corporation.
In one of the largest ICT in Education projects of the country, the Gujarat Government deploys computer labs in 15,493 primary and upper primary government schools in the state—an initiative that is likely to benefit millions of children every year.
